Executive Leadership Team

Stefan founded Polarium back in 2015 based on an idea of how energy storage solutions built on lithium-ion battery technology could empower a smart and sustainable world. As CEO, Stefan leads Polarium’s rapid global expansion. He has more than 25 years of experience from working with innovative energy storage solutions and building global businesses. Prior to Polarium Stefan was part of the founding teams of Northstar Battery Company as well as Abatel.

Hanna has over 15 years of experience in communications and investor relations, often serving as a strategic advisor to management teams and Boards. In addition to Polarium, Hanna is a Partner at Brunswick Group where she co-leads the European TMT practise. She is also a member of the board at Nasdaq listed Aros Bostadsutveckling AB and New Property Group. Hanna has a BA in European Studies from King’s College London.

Jonas has more than 20 years of experience as General Counsel in the telecom industry. He has worked as General Counsel of Telia Company, Tele2 AB and Utfors. Prior to this, he was a junior lawyer at Mannheimer Swartling advokatbyrå. He is a Board member of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Jonas studied law at Lund University

Jerker has more than 15 years of experience from Atlas Copco, most recently as VP Business Development Sustainability. Prior to this, his roles included VP Global Sales Development. Jerker has an MSc Eng. from Luleå University of Technology.

Linus has extensive experience in planning, coordinating and integrating Business Operations and Supply Chain. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Management from Jönköping International Business School, and the Executive Management Program from Stockholm School of Economics.

Robert has more than 20 years of experience from finance in international organisations, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Hexagon AB. Previous positions include Group Treasurer at Hexagon AB, Group Treasurer at EF Education First Ltd and Assistant Group Treasurer at Autoliv Inc.  He is also a board member of Storskogen Group AB and Vimian Group AB. Robert has a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University.

Rickard joined Polarium in 2021 as a member of the management team with more than 20 years of experience in product development, sales and management at Atlas Copco, which included roles as General Manager and Vice President Operations at Atlas Copco Industrial Technique. He has also worked with interim management. Rickard has an MSc Eng. from KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Karin has almost 20 years of experience of pursuing sustainability issues in international environments. She was previously Head of Sustainability and Deputy Head of Responsible Investments at Handelsbanken Asset Management and prior to this, Senior Manager Strategy & Impact at Swedfund International. EVP Sustainability reports to EVP Corporate Affairs. Karin has a BA Econ from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Hanne has more than 15 years experience in leadership, management consulting, strategy and marketing. Hanne has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from BI Norwegian Business School, and an MSc in Consumer and Business Marketing from Stockholm University.
