Polarium is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings. Our business is conducted with respect for the law and our Code of Conduct. Whistleblowing provides an opportunity to report suspicions of misconduct and is an important tool to foster high ethical standards and maintain customer and public confidence in us.

Our Whistleblowing Lines

Polarium has two whistleblowing lines, one global and one local for Sweden.

You should use Polarium’s Global Whistleblowing Line if you want to report (suspected) misconduct about an individual in key or management position within the Polarium group. Anyone may use the Global Whistleblowing Line.

Due to local law, we also have a local whistleblowing Line for Swedish employees. Via the Swedish Whistleblowing Line, you may report information about (suspected) misconduct in a work related context which is in the public interest that is becomes known. You may also report (suspected) misconduct in a work related context that is comprised of acts or omittance to act in violation of EU law.

You can choose which Whistleblowing Line to use below. Each have a Whistleblowing Guideline.

Your message will be securely handled 

The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner, WhistleB Whistleblowing Centre, to ensure anonymity. The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected.

All messages will be processed in confidence.

Whistleblowing Guidelines

We encourage you to read the Whistleblowing Guideline for the relevant Whistleblowing Line before you submit your report.

The Guidelines contain information about who and what you may report about, what happens once you have submitted your report, how it is investigated, and how we process your personal data. In the Guidelines for the Swedish Whistleblowing Line you can also find information about how to use external whistleblowing channels and other rights under the Swedish Whistleblowing Act.

Submitting an anonymous message

Your message is submitted easily and securely by following the instructions in the form. After having sent your message you will receive an ID and a password on the screen. It is important that you save these in a secure manner so you can log in after you have made your report to updated or provide answers to follow-up questions which are necessary to help resolve the issue. If you forget or lose your log in credentials, you will have to submit a new report. 

Access to messages received through our Whistleblowing Lines are restricted to appointed individuals with the authority to handle whistleblowing cases. The Whistleblowing Team is comprised of Polarium’s Head of Ethics & Compliance and General Counsel. Their actions are logged, and handling is confidential.

The Whistleblowing Lines are administrated by WhistleB, an external service provider. All messages are encrypted. To ensure the anonymity of the person sending a message, WhistleB deletes all meta data, including IP addresses. The person sending the message also remains anonymous in the subsequent dialogue with the Whistleblowing Team.

You will receive confirmation of receipt within 7 days after submitting your report. The Whistleblowing Team will send appropriate feedback within 3 months upon the date of receiving the report.
