We are committed to working together with our suppliers towards a long-term sustainable future. Our approach to sustainable sourcing is instrumental in ensuring that we deliver on our business objectives while making a positive social impact on the people in our supply chain and protecting the surrounding environments.
Our approach includes mandatory requirements that all our suppliers need to meet in order to do business with Polarium. For more information, see our Supplier Code of Conduct .
As part of our commitment to ensuring respect for human rights in our supply chain, we work proactively to ensure that minerals and products we use are responsibly sourced. We recognize that minerals such as cobalt, tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG) can be connected, directly or indirectly, to financing or benefiting armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, surrounding countries and to other conflict-affected high-risk areas across the globe.
In order to find a sustainable solution and to source responsibly from conflict free regions, we are committed to implement the Responsible Minerals Initiative’s (RMI’s) best practices and implemented supply chain due diligence frameworks, consistent with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. Through these measures, we continue to build awareness and capacity and we expect our business partners to support in these efforts.
