Polarium publishes its 2021 Annual Report and Sustainability Report

The reports sum up 2021 and describe strategies for growth and sustainability going forward.

2021 was another strong year for Polarium with continued profitable growth. Net sales grew by 46 percent and amounted to SEK 1,084 million with an operating profit (EBITDA) of SEK 83 million, corresponding to an operating margin of 7.6 percent. The Annual Report describes Polarium’s strategy to capture a larger share of the rapidly growing market for energy storage and further strengthen the company’s leading position, as well as information on market drivers, products and customers.

This combined with our customer-centric ways of working and technological leadership has enabled continued profitable growth in 2021. In 2021, Polarium conducted a materiality assessment of its business strategy, targets, and goals. The assessment has helped define, determine, and prioritize the environmental, social, and governance matters that affect Polarium and its key stakeholders to the greatest extent. In its very first sustainability report, Polarium presents the progress it has made towards realizing its sustainability ambitions and commitments in the three following focus areas: Enabling Circular and Green Solutions, Ensuring Ethical and Responsible Business Practices, and Empowering People and Culture. The Sustainability Report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards Core option.
