Cecilia Qvist to Join Polarium’s Board of Directors
8th July, 2022Polarium is pleased to announce that Cecilia Qvist has been proposed to join the company as new board member.
Polarium, founded in 2015, is on a journey to empower a sustainable world with smart modular energy storage solutions built on lithium-ion technology. By combining high-quality batteries with a smart and connected technical platform enabling more optimized energy consumption, the company helps its customers reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint.

Cecilia Qvist has recently headed up LEGO ventures, whose mission is to invest in the future of learning. LEGO Ventures invests in industries like gaming, adaptive education, and virtual reality. Cecilia has broad experience from technology-driven environments, working with scale-ups in multiple markets. Before LEGO Ventures, Cecilia was Head of Global Markets at Spotify and oversaw the company’s global growth strategy with a focus on international expansion, product localization and user growth. She is currently board member of Kinnevik, an entrepreneurial investment group, and board member of Trustly, a global leader in online banking payments.
