Polarium wins two Red Dot Design Awards for their latest battery
7th May, 2021Polarium’s latest product – Battery 23″ 2U 200 Ah – its highest energy density product to date, has been awarded two Red Dot Design Awards for outstanding design quality.
“These awards are a great endorsement for our dedicated product team and testimony to the premium quality of our products. Our production is driven by innovation and cutting-edge technology, and aesthetic and smart design is an integral part of that process,” says Tobias Söderlund, CPO at Polarium.
Designed for the telecom networks of the future, Battery 23” 2U 200 Ah is Polarium’s latest product launch and the company’s highest energy density product to date. The new product is the result of extensive research and development and no compromises have been made on performance. Rather, the battery incorporates crucial thermal cooling and propagation safety innovations. It is also designed to fit into any battery rack infrastructure, simplifying the transition to Polarium’s products.
“Part of the bigger picture within the design of this battery is the modular architecture, which is based on common building blocks that enables a large number of product variants to solve specific customer needs. The combination of innovative features is truly unique,” adds Söderlund.
The Red Dot Award: Product Design, whose origins date back to 1955, appraises the best products created every year. The distinction “Red Dot” has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after seals of quality for good design.
